With a year-round open season, Curlew Lake has some of the best trout, bass, and tiger muskie fishing in Washington State. The state park has a no-fee boat ramp and a 80-foot dock. Just outside our back door, the Ferry County Rail Trail is a 24.8 mile non-motorized trail that runs from Republic’s West Herron Creek Road north to Danville near the Canadian Border. Bicycle, walk or cross country ski, with direct access from Winchester RV Resort & Campground. Riding ATV’s from the resort into the direction of town is allowed.
Go back in time as you stroll down the street in this quaint western town. Originally named “Eureka” with the discovery of gold in 1895, established in 1900 and a rich history based in the mining and logging industries. A short 10 minute drive from Winchester RV Resort & Campground, or ride your bicycle or ATV into town from our direct access to the Ferry County Rail Trail.
Founded in 1900, Molson was a mining town-turned-agricultural community. Many buildings, equipment, and other relics remain to tell its story. About 90 minutes from Winchester RV Resort.
Bring the kids and dig for your own 49 million year old fossils at Stonerose Interpretive Center & Eocene Fossil Site, right in the middle of Republic, just 10 minutes from Winchester RV Resort & Campground.
Just outside of the resort, with easy, direct access, you’ll find miles of trails for your ATV adventures. Ferry County offers hundreds of miles of roads and trails that are open to UTV’s, ATV’s, jeeps and motorcycles.
